Wilson’s Industrial Sales was founded in 1964 by well-known Bundaberg local identity Mr Noel Wilson in small premises on the corner of Targo and Woondooma Streets.

The business rapidly expanded with sound management, culminating in relocation to the present, much larger, Quay and Walla Streets site in 1972.

After the move, Wilsons Enterprises (as it was known then) continued to prosper with industry and the farming community responding well to the personalised service and vast range of industrial products provided by the company.

Founder Noel Wilson retired in 1986, selling the business to Dave Melville Machining Pty. Ltd, a well-established engineering company founded in 1977 by David and Sharon Melville.

They recognized the acquisition of an industrial wholesale and retail business as being most beneficial, resulting in greater purchasing power for the engineering shop. While being able to provide Wilson’s customers with ready access to a wide range of expertise in the engineering industry.

The result has been a business that now has the highest reputation for quality service and products in the entire region, while still maintaining our ability to deal with our local customers on a personal level.

We currently employ 10 local, full-time staff, who offer experience, knowledge and local understanding to our valuable customers.
