The SC-V X-ray inspection system represents the most advanced inspection technology. It combines reliable detection of product impurities by means of the high performance X-ray inspection system with an optical control system to check package label content and appearance. Both inspection units – X-ray and optical control systems – are combined in one space-saving design.

Like the X-ray inspection system optics and system software, the SC-V optical control system was developed in-house at Wipotec. The control systems check for foreign bodies in the product, and the information as it appears on the product labels: ingredients, nutritional values, and expiration date. The optical system checks the product labels for both correctness and a flawless appearance regardless of product positioning.
