Customisable Sensors
Call for more details
RFID sensors are a great way to monitor and track activities in construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics, and other fields. The Xerafy Xense range includes sensors which utilize RFID technology to enable battery-free tracking of materials, personnel, and other resources without the need for hard wiring or power sources. Customisable Sensors include: temperature, humidity, strain, ambient light, pressure, magnetic field, electrical continuity.
Xense series features:
EPC global Gen 2 and ISO 18000-6C standard
Read range: 2m on metal, 3m off metal, 4.5m in concrete
Operating temperature: -40°C to 85°C. IP68
Dimensions: 100mm x 26mm x 8.9mm
Memory: 512 bits for configuration and data storage
No battery, meaning no maintenance
Suitable for embedding to monitor curing concrete
Applications:
In Building/Construction:
Perform real-time, permanent or occasional controls eg. concrete curing
Detect changes in civil engineering structure, ground and buildings. Use the data to prevent issues occurring
Combine both environmental and structural measurements
Monitor hundreds of items simultaneously
In Preventive Maintenance:
Enable maintenance technicians to focus on key issues
Generate a large amount of data to build predictive models and anticipate wear/breakdowns
Measure vibrations, strain, voltage, contact
In Logistics:
Minimise assembly line downtime
Track supplies fill ratio
Generate alerts for replenishment. Know what to purchase when the supply is running out, gaining an insight into production
In Food Quality Control:
Prevent toxicity and ensure traceability
Accurately track perishable product expiry date and current quality
Analyse ambient atmosphere to detect potential spoilage
Use on-or-off chip chemical sensor to detect deviations or toxic compounds
Temperature, Humidity, Strain, Ambient light, Pressure, Magnetic field (Hall Effect), Electrical continuity
Sample tags are available for purchase so you can test tags in your environment/applications.
