The model 1684-DIN is designed to be used in diesel and water tanks to indicate and control the fluid level. In this system there are tank-mounted sensors and rail-mounted bar graph relay controllers. Since this sensor uses solid-state technology there are no moving or corrosive parts.

The solid-state sensors have no moving or corrosive parts and are fully encapsulated. The capacitive sensors are factory programmed for the relevant water or diesel media. Instrotech Rail Mount Tank Level Systems indicate liquid levels in 10% steps with 3 high and 3 low level switching relay outputs. Model 1684-DIN is made for AC or DC auxilary supply voltages. The tank sensor is wired to the Display Controller with a 3-core cable and may be up to 100m apart.
