Australis Engineering Pallet Chain Conveyors ...
Australis offers a wide range of pallet conveyor solutions including chain, roller and gravity conveyor.
Our Chain Conveyors are available in Medium and Heavy Duty variants and with double or triple chains.
Standard modules are available in 1.5m and 3m lengths, which can be joined to make longer modules. Custom lengths are also available so our pallet conveyor system is highly adaptable and can be configured to provide virtually any layout you require.
Often Chain and Roller conveyors are used within the same system which allows for the benefits of both styles to be used.
Pallet Chain Conveyors are ideal when pallets need travel in two directions as base board orientation does not matter.
Due to the base boards, pallets on roller conveyors have to travel with the base board perpendicular to the travel direction which, for most Australian pallets limits the pallets to one direction travel and also to loading/unload from the side of the conveyor rather than the end of the conveyor.
Pallet Chain Conveyors allow for loading/unloading by forklift from the end or the side of the conveyor. This allows you to better fit the conveyor system and maximise the efficient use of space.
Using Chain Conveyors also allow for other devices such as pop-up transfers be easily installed into the line. While checker plate infill panels allow operators to safely walk over or on the conveyors.
Roller Pallet conveyors on the other hand are ideal where multiple pallet sizes are being used or where the pallets are multi-directional
Australis offers a whole range of pallet conveyor solutions including driven roller conveyors, turn tables, transfers, pallet stops and more.
