Cater Inc. started not very differently from many of your own. We started up with the desire of opening up a new Commercial Kitchen Supply company after spending many years in the industry from humble beginnings of refurbishing, fixing and selling used commercial equipment.

We have always felt that wherever there is a scarcity, there is an opportunity. And that scarcity we found was with customer service in the industry. This is not applicable to just this industry, I’m sure there are many industries and businesses that treat customers as only numbers.

Where we value relationships with our customers more than making our quotas for that month. When most people think ‘selling’ is the same as ‘talking’. But the most effective salespeople know that listening to their customers is the most important part of their job.
So engaging our customers about meeting their needs, not ours, by making our services to YOU (our customer) continuously better, by evaluating food-service trends and adjusting for them, by regularly training our staff on industry equipment and services, by remaining flexible to your needs, and by making purchasing equipment and supplies for your businesses convenient.
