DuoGuard™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control System is a hybrid treatment where zinc alloy hybrid anodes are embedded discretely into the concrete structure and in a two stage process are used in an impressed current phase and then converted to a galvanic phase to control corrosion for the structures design life.
The DuoGuard™ Hybrid Anode™ corrosion control system initially operates under a high current constant voltage power supply to re-passivate corroding reinforcement steel, once corrosion control criteria have been achieved the anode is connected to the steel and continues to control corrosion by way of a galvanic current.
