The use of low capacitance gas filled arrestors ensures operation at high frequencies with low insertion loss. The GKCP is available in either an inline or bulkhead configuration with the appropriate connectors on each end.

The device is designed to minimise circuit capacitance and present a 50 or 75-ohm impedance so that performance up to 2.1 GHz is assured.
