Purcher InternationalFarm Machinery & Trucks

Starting out in 1967 as an International Harvester dealership Griffiths and Purcher grew steadily selling both farm machinery and trucks.

In 1971 Norm Griffiths retired and Roy Purcher took sole ownership and Purcher International was born. In 1982, Mitsubishi Trucks (now FUSO) joined the business, strengthening the international Trucks offering – and now Purcher International is the longest running Fuso dealership in Western Australia.

1987 saw the International Harvester Company split into two divisions; Trucks and Agricultural.

The agricultural division of the business was to become a Case IH dealership and the truck division became Iveco Trucks Australia.

Purcher International retained the sales and support for both brands.

Through the years, Purcher International has gone from strength to strength, and has built on the original offering to include international brands to support Agricultural & Truck markets.

In 2007 Roy retired and the business passed to his son Steven who was been involved in the business since he had left school.

2014 saw Purcher International asked by Daimler Trucks Australia to become a full line dealer for their Freightliner, Mercedes Benz & FUSO trucks.

In 2022, Purcher International was acquired by the McIntosh Group and continues to be committed to offering customers in the Midwest region market leading services and solutions.
