Rhine Ruhr Mist Eliminators in Scrubber ...
Common Types of Mist Eliminators Include:
DynaMesh™– Consisting of a pad knitted wire mesh sandwiched between two ridged grids to provide support. Liquid mist collects on the wire as the bulk vapour travels through the pad. The collected liquid droplets coalesce into a continuous film on the wire and drain from the mesh under gravity.
DynaVane™ – Consisting of a series of specially profiled baffle plates that remove liquid droplets from a vapour stream by means of inertial impaction of the liquid droplets on the baffle while the gas negotiates the zigzag flow path between baffles.
DynaSpin™ – Centrifugal Mist Eliminators consist of multiple standard cyclone pipes. An intense spinning motion is induced into the gas entering the cyclone pipes with throws the liquid droplets onto the pipe wall due to the resulting centrifugal forces.
In order to achieve optimal removal efficiency, a DynaSpin™ may be coupled with a DynaMesh™ or DynaVane™ mist eliminator which acts as a coalescer, forming larger droplet particles which are in turn removed by the DynaSpin™ Centrifugal Mist Eliminator. This in turn increases the overall removal efficiency and keeps the scrubber size to a minimum.
