The VTL Series Vertical Turning Centers from Ace Designers combine power, rigidity, and versatility with increased capacity. These machines are designed for turning heavy, large diameter components such as flywheels, brake drums, and large gears. The high torque spindle motor provides the necessary power for heavy stock removal, while the rapid traverse rates of 20m/min significantly reduce cycle times. The wide access to the chuck zone facilitates easy loading and unloading of parts, enhancing operational convenience. The linear motion guideways on the X and Z axes ensure better positioning and repeatability, improving machining accuracy. Additionally, the compact footprint of the VTL Series machines allows them to occupy less floor space compared to horizontal turning machines that can handle similar-sized parts. The structural design, optimized using FEM techniques, maximizes tool point stiffness, minimizes vibration, and improves power utilization, ensuring accurate machining under various cutting conditions.
